critical thinking

Critical thinking is the disciplined process of actively and skillfully conceptualizing, applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and evaluating information gathered from observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, or communication, as a guide to belief and action.

It involves questioning assumptions, assessing evidence, discerning hidden values, evaluating arguments, and arriving at well-reasoned conclusions.

Critical thinking aims at developing a clear, rational, and unbiased perspective to make informed judgments and solve problems effectively.
